About the role

Our Mortgage Completions team play an integral role in our Lending Services department and have an opportunity to join them for up to 12 months.

The Lending department manages the entire life cycle of a mortgage application. From receipt of the initial applications, underwriting to completion and then servicing the needs of existing customers through to final redemption.  This role sits within the completion stage and ensures that the customer’s funds reach their solicitor in time for completion of the mortgage.

The Completions Team is part of the wider Lending Team and you’ll be part of a friendly, dedicated team who complete all the final checks on mortgage applications before releasing the monies for completion. This involves a variety of tasks including reviewing completion requests, both for purchases and additional borrowing, processing mortgage details and facilitating the release of mortgage retention’s. You’ll also take incoming calls and queries from solicitors and will process application refunds where necessary.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail within this fast paced, customer focused environment. As well as working as part of your own team you’ll also support the greater lending area by supporting the department when needed.

This role operates Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm on a hybrid basis. After training this will include at lest 2 days onsite.

To be successful in this role its essential you have:

  • Current customer experience with ability to maintain quality standards in a fast paced environment
  • Strong current administration experience with good attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills and being pro-active in resolving queries / problem solving 
  • Good team work skills and experience of supporting others

Desirable experience will include:

  • Experience of handling challenging and / or complex situations
  • Mortgage experience
