About the role

As a B2C Marketing Specialist reporting into the Marketing Manager, the role will be working within a fast-paced collaborative environment to create engaging retention communications that drive cross-sell opportunities, increasing share of wallet.

The purpose is to develop and deliver communication strategies that promote our brand, products, and services. There is also a need to facilitate many regulatory templated communications. It will include a mix of marketing and digital communications to engage target audiences effectively.

Building and maintaining strong relationships will be key to successful comms, so you will be working closely with our product, digital, design and print teams as well as our Legal and Compliance departments.

In essence, this role ensures that our company’s messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful across all communication channels.

About you

You and your abilities

This role needs someone who has an agile mindset and a willingness to embrace changing market demands and business priorities and excels at retention marketing.

To be successful in this role it’s essential you have:

  • Storytelling ability and experience of using behavioural science to craft compelling targeted communications with dynamic content based on audience segmentation and marketing personas.
  • Confidence in interpreting marcomms analytics and engagement metrics.
  • Experience of A/B testing and customer journey mapping to refine messaging and enhance engagement.
  • Understanding of consent and the difference between service communications and financial promotions.

Desirable experience needed will be:

  • Regulatory knowledge and experience working with legal and compliance teams.
  • Financial Services experience.
  • Mortgage & Savings product knowledge.
