About the role

Our Customer department have a brand new opportunity to join them by helping shape the delivery of our digital first, human always ambition.

The role of a Senior Analyst – Business Development & Data is to have a forensic understanding of our digital products. It will use data to identify customer behaviour, understand the impact of our customer facing digital solutions on our human channels, their pain points and to deliver opportunities to enhance our solution. Working with our Customer Research team this role combines customer insight and self-generated data to drive outcomes our customers want both today and in the future.

Providing data & MI solutions supporting operational performance, strategic planning and customer experience improvements will be important parts of the role, as well as partner effectively with colleagues in the Marketing, Customer Insight and CIDO.

The role will also have oversight across digital channels ensuring reports produced and presented are appropriate to the audience, including regulators, formal committees and Executive/Directors.

About you

To be successful you’ll have a customer background with experience in digital channels and strong operational management of data with the ability to drive insights. The ability to find patterns and trends in datasets to uncover insights and create algorithms and data models to forecast outcomes will also be needed.

You’ll be proficient with Microsoft Excel, SQL and PowerPoint, as well as ideally experience of Cognos and BI software.

You’ll have strong influencing skills at all levels as well as strong collaboration, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to deliver under pressure. Experience in quality reporting, the ability to articulate a story to stakeholders in a clear and consistent manner would be advantageous.
