About the role

Coventry Building Society have an exciting new role for a PMO Governance Lead, in CIDO.

The PMO Governance Lead will be responsible for maintaining a robust reporting framework, clearly defining inputs, outputs, and reporting cadence for all levels of the governance model. This will include documenting processes and ensuring consistent application across the organisation.

This role has a requirement to work in the Coventry office for 1 - 2 days per week as a minimum.

About you

You’ll be a seasoned change management professional with excellent relationship management skills and adept at managing senior stakeholders.

You will own and manage the process for providing timely and accurate updates on the Integration Programme to the Group Board. This includes supporting the development of the agenda and coordinating the development of the supporting materials.

To be successful in this role, it’s essential that you’re able to:

  • Manage the end-to-end Integration Steering Committee (“ISC”), reporting process, encompassing:
    • Coordinate meeting logistics, develop agendas (including proactive identification and scheduling of future topics), and manage meeting minutes and action items
    • Proactively liaise with stakeholders to gather regular and ad-hoc inputs for ISC reporting.
    • Create, maintain, and regularly update various regular ISC reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Oversee the review and distribution process of ISC reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the monthly workstream reporting cycle, including:
    • Coordinate activities across workstreams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
    • Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of workstream reports before distribution.
    • Manage logistics and agendas for workstream reporting meetings.
    • Track and follow up on action items arising from workstream reporting meetings.
  • Manage the flow and quality of data required to feed other governance forums, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all reporting channels.
  • Prior experience of working in a similar role within Financial Services / Banking.

Desirable skills for this role are:

  • You’ll ideally have previous experience of integrations, mergers and acquisitions, having worked on large change programmes of work with high levels of complexity.
