Assistant Balance Sheet Analyst

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Balance Sheet Analyst to join the Finance Middle Office department.  Middle Office is responsible for oversight of Treasury activities and providing areas of specialist support to Treasury and Finance.

The main purpose of the role is to assist in the provision of high quality analysis, modelling and reporting to ensure that management information enables effective, informed oversight and decision making.

About You

The successful individual will be expected to work to a high standard of accuracy under time pressure, provide high quality information and analysis, have good presentation skills, the ability to engage with tasks and take a proactive approach to working both within a team and individually. Familiar with numerical modelling techniques and statistical analysis would be an advantage, although training and development will be provided where necessary.

Ideally you will be a degree educated with a STEM, Finance or IT degree (or equivalent) and intending to begin or continue studying towards a relevant professional qualification. Full role-related training and development will be provided and the Society will support relevant professional study.

In summary, the role is for a graduate (or equivalent) wanting to build on existing numerical, computing and analytical skills and develop their career within a challenging, dynamic and proactive financial risk management and treasury environment.
