Assistant Analyst Financial Data - Process

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance and Treasury Department.   This is a role, in the Financial Data & Analysis Team, helping to improve efficiency and governance in processes across Finance and Treasury.

This role will give you solid exposure across Finance and Treasury department at all levels. In addition you will develop your Excel and VBA skills to become a SME in process and efficiency which are highly transferable skills for many roles in the business.

As an ‘Assistant Analyst Financial Data - Process‘  you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the rebuilding of processes and models within the Finance and Treasury function, driving greater efficiency and stronger governance
  • Assist to develop the RAD VBA environment we will use to efficiently role out process improvements  
  • Assist with integration and simplification of existing processes used within the Finance and Treasury departments
  • Assist with ad hoc project work within the wider finance function
About You

What we’ll be looking for in you as an ‘Assistant Analyst Financial Data - Process‘:

  • Degree holder in computer science or a similar subject or have an equivalent level of experience
  • Strong Excel, with desire to develop advanced Excel skills with advanced VBA
  • QRM, SQL, Cognos or Business Objects desirable
  • Desire to help change and enhance business processes across the entire Finance and Treasury department
  • Experience of working in a Finance or similar environment desirable
  • Willingness to learn new systems and further knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with constant change
