As a Marketing Specialist – B2C, reporting into the Marketing Manager – B2C, you’ll be working within a fast paced team liaising with B2C areas of the business. You’ll play a key part in acquisition and retention processes for both our savings and mortgage members meaning you’ll be heavily involved with our Product Trading team to ensure knowledge of competitors is strong.

You’ll be responsible for our ongoing communication to our members making sure there is consistency across both savings and mortgages. You’ll have high standards, making sure processes are followed appropriately and consistently, outputs are always technically accurate and that they reflect our brand visual identity and tone of voice.

Working in a fast paced team you’ll be empowered to start a piece of work – seeing it all the way through and ensuring you engage the right stakeholders.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key teams is vital – you’ll be working closely with our product, digital, design and print teams as well as our Legal and Compliance departments.

About You

You’ll have experience of working in marketing and know how to deliver effective customer content and messages through different channels.

With an innovative and proactive approach you’ll look for new ways to add value and improve our internal processes by looking to challenge the existing processes.

You’ll be highly organised and with great attention to detail you’ll have the ability to work with others in the team as well as independently. You’ll ensure that your work is delivered on time and within budget.

You’ll be resilient and have a positive mindset and can do attitude working in this fast paced team.

When faced with challenges you will look to find suitable solutions to hit deadlines, budget and a positive outcome for all audiences involved. Being able to multi-task is key as there’s a need to be able to focus on more than one task at a time. Plans can evolve so you’ll need to be very organised and prepared to switch tact from time to time.

You’ll be experienced at producing effective marketing materials which are of high quality and meet the brief and deadlines set.

You’ll have strong communication skills where listening to and engaging with your colleagues will allow you build strong working relationships ensuring an effective delivery.

Whilst you’ll need to be able to brief copywriters on the creation of content, you’ll also already have the skills to be able to create your own. A good standard of literacy and the ability to adapt your written communication style depending on the audience is key.
