Customer Service Telephone Advisor

About The Role

Our CCA award winning Savings Customer Service Contact Centre in Coventry are looking for chatty, friendly and helpful people who are passionate about providing an excellent customer service, to join them. It’s a fast paced, team orientated and supportive environment where every day is different.

As a Customer Service Telephone Advisor (know internally as Savings Telephone Advisor) your key responsibilities will be taking calls from our diverse range of customers, completing transactions over the phone and dealing with any other questions or queries they have. As you grow in the role you’ll take on more responsibility for opening accounts and helping our customers through more challenging or sensitive situations.

An important part of the role will being able to find first time resolutions for our customers and keeping up to date with our products and policies. You’ll also support our customer enquiries through inputting information accurately and efficiently. We have a clear passion to deliver an exceptional telephone service and achieve quality / compliance goals, but this not a sales based role and there are no sales targets.

As you increase in confidence and experience, you’ll work through our accreditation scheme which moves you through the different parts of the role increasing your level of responsibilities and pay. You can own your personal development, grow and develop with us if you want.

Start date for the role is 12th July and your first 3 weeks will consist of a mixture of comprehensive training and support in our Covid secure office to get you taking your first calls from our customers.

(Due to the training and to make sure you get the best start to your journey with us, we will not be able to accommodate any holiday in this time frame)


About You

We're looking for customer focused people who are happy talking on the phone and enjoy working in a fast paced environment so to be successful in the role:

  • You’ll already have recent experience in dealing with customers and providing a good level of service 
  • We’re looking for someone who's confident to talk to a wide range of different people, so you'll have good communication skills
  • Detail conscious and accurate: you’ll have a good attention to detail and thorough in nature
  • Flexible and agile: You’ll have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will like working in a fast paced environment
  • You'll like working in a team and will have a positive, flexible and supportive approach

You will be required to work 35 hours per week, flexibly across the following hours:

  • 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday 
  • 9am to 2pm Saturday
Please note our recruitment process will begin in May and will involve an on-line virtual role pay, initial telephone chat and a zoom interview with the managers from area.
