Third Party Risk Control Officer

About The Role

There is an exciting opportunity within the Procurement and Supply team as a Third Party Risk Control Officer.

Working within the Procurement function and wider Society, the role of this individual is to ensure that The Society’s procurement policies and procedures are being complied with. Working with both business stakeholders and suppliers it is essential that a robust risk and compliance infrastructure is maintained and continuously monitored to ensure 3rd party potential risks and risk events are highlighted to the necessary committees in a timely manner and any emerging risk assessed and actioned. 

This role will be responsible for the management and reporting of 3rd party related Risk, Compliance, Audit and 3rd party performance issues.  You will be required to gain the SME expertise across the end to end supplier journey process including but not limited to: data risk assessments , third party questionnaires, material outsource risk assessments,  contingency plans, business continuity plans and appropriated certification .

About You

The successful individual will possess the ability to continuously develop this well established role within a fast paced changing environment.

It is essential that the successful individual will have the ability to identify areas of emerging risks relating to the end to end procurement process and suggest improvements required during the Society wide implementation of the process and ensure that the right level of support is being offered by the Procurement function to the wider internal audience.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing the administrative support to the Procurement function, including but not limited to : creation of reports, managing the SRM system, assessing process compliance ,  reviewing and updating the process against new regulatory requirement , liaising and assisting with stakeholder and supplier queries, arranging meetings with internal colleagues and suppliers, data entry and the management of the procurement team folders and all procurement documentation.
