Area Manager

About The Role
A unique opportunity has become available to join our Branch Network as an Area Manager

As Area Manager you will be responsible for up to 11 branches ranging across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Your branch managers will directly report to you with a wider team of c50-100 and you will report to the Regional Manager

The key purpose of this exciting and challenging role is:

  • To lead your Branch Managers by demonstrating inspirational leadership skills

  • Ensure your area make service improvements that positively impact on customer experience and advocacy

  • Implement effective succession plans and facilitate personal growth to ensure individuals reach their full potential

  • Ensure the Branches positively impact on the communities they serve

  • To ensure your branches meet all legislative, code of practice and internal control requirements

  • To play a part in our success by representing the Branch Network in business wide projects

About You
The successful candidate will have recent strong leadership experience with evidence of managing and developing managers.

You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and be able to identify where your experience has made a difference, through quality development and engagement of people. 

You will also be required to liaise with stakeholders across the organisation and represent the Branch Network, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
You will have Branch Network financial services experience from a similar environment and will be able to evidence working within a risks and controls environment.
