Business Development Manager South London

If so this is the role for you…We are looking for a professional and dedicated individual to join our Field Business Development Manager team within our South London region.
You must ideally reside in and the role will cover the post code regions of:  CR SM SE KT TW

As a BDM you will:
  • Manage a selected panel of brokers representing our proposition and focusing on improving the quality and quantity of application submissions via our intermediary partners.

  • Work closely with your customers to develop mutually beneficial business relationships. You will be assessed on number and quality of appointments via feedback and observations.

  • Ensure you really get the best value out of these relationships for all parties, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks, working in a consultative and collaborative way.


About You
  • To be a success in this role you’ll have proven Business to Business Experience working within the intermediary sector, ideally as a business development manager or account management; however this does not need to be in a field based capacity. Applications from Telephone BDM's would certainly be welcomed.
  • You’ll be an excellent communicator with a passion for Customer service. You’ll have the ability to build rapport and influence. Focused on working in a consultative way to build long term business relationships whilst maintaining reputation and integrity.

  • You will be a self-starter able to work autonomously with minimal day to day direct supervision. You will be motivated with the ability to manage your time and diary efficiently.

  • A full clean driving licence is a requirement for the job as is a flexible approach to working hours.Due to wellbeing there is a requirement for you to live on patch (detailed above)

  •  In the role you will also be required to pass the Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice within an agreed timescale if you do not already have this qualification
