Lead Service Manager

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated Lead Service Manager to join our growing IT Service Management team. You will be a catalyst for transforming our current Service Management strategies, improvements and processes to best practice. Also, you will oversee the rollout of business-facing service level agreements, realise significant benefits from our service management toolset, and support your team to develop and mature processes across various service management disciplines.

 

You will develop effective relationships with senior business and IT stakeholders in line with the Coventry’s CARES values (Caring, Attentive, Reliable, Ethical, Straightforward).

The successful candidate will strive to improve the quality, transparency and reliability of IT services provided to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing service risks.

 

You will also have experience of collaborating with senior Procurement leads to manage third-party supplier relationships, creating plans to improve or move services by working with senior business leads.

About You

You are a self-motivated individual with a range of leadership skills and an excellent track record of managing senior business stakeholders. Equipped with very strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, you are degree-educated (or equivalent) and have advanced service management qualifications. You have substantial strategic IT service management experience.

 

You are an inspiring and supportive team manager with experience of managing teams through significant change in a customer-focused organisation.
