PMO Officer

About The Role

One of the fastest growing departments within the Society has an exciting opportunity for a PMO Officer. We are looking for someone who is a proven PMO all-rounder, with a desire to develop their skills towards becoming a specialist in change risk management in future.  If you possess the ability to work well within a busy environment, and have a passion for change and risk management, then this could be the role for you.

The successful candidate will have worked in a PMO team previously, and have experience in a range of project/programme support, including: financial management, resource management, benefits measurement, quality assurance, data analysis and reporting.

In return we can offer you a wide range of general PMO opportunities, including the chance to grow your risk management skills in a number of key areas:

  • Assisting with regular reviews of Change Category risk, through the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.

  • Leading a comprehensive testing programme for all controls identified in the RCSA, ensuring that necessary improvements are identified and implemented as a result of the findings.

  • Assisting with provision of monthly risk reporting for Executive Risk committees.

  • Investigating and reporting risk events, ensuring that the root cause of each event is identified and that a programme of action is designed to effectively mitigate the risk, in line with the Enterprise Wide Risk Framework.

  • Playing an active role in ensuring that robust and effective departmental Business Continuity arrangements are documented and tested.

This is a demanding position, requiring excellent analysis, planning and communication skills (both written and verbal); it is fast-paced but highly rewarding.

If you are seeking a new challenge and feel you have the relevant skills and experience, do not delay in submitting your application.
